JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market. These are engines removed from vehicles in Japan and imported to Canada. Ancillaries such as intake, harness and sensors vary from unit to unit, so ask us for photos and a parts list for the specific engine.
A short block is the block, crankshaft, rods and pistons. A long block adds the cylinder heads, camshaft and valvetrain. A dressed or complete engine adds intake, fuel system and accessories, so there is less to transfer from your old engine.
Every unit is strapped to a pallet and sent by insured LTL freight carrier. Freight is a flat rate of C$490.56 per order anywhere in Canada. Residential deliveries include liftgate service, and the carrier calls ahead to book a time. See our shipping policy.
Yes. Free pickup is available by appointment at 6295 Mississauga Road, Suite 219, Mississauga. Please book at least 24 hours ahead.
Yes. All prices are in CAD and you are charged in CAD, so there are no exchange-rate surprises or cross-border brokerage fees.
Units carry a limited mechanical warranty from the date of delivery; the length depends on the product type. Installation by a licensed repair facility is required. Full terms are in our warranty policy.
Eligible units can be returned within 30 days of delivery, strapped to the original pallet with fluids drained. A 20% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns. Read the returns policy and core return guidelines before sending anything back.
We currently accept bank transfer and wire transfer in Canadian dollars. After you place your order we email you our banking details; your order is prepared for shipping once the payment has cleared. Card payments are coming soon.
